My Mac and Cheese was Fixed!

Second time of making this, Mac and Cheese, in my life. Well, it's different to compare with the first time.

I created my own version, err.. not pretty much different, I just top it with some crispy bread crumbs. It's sure pretty nice if I bake covered with aluminum foil. Because I didn't, the macaroni turns hard and too dry, darn it XD

So I intended to fix it. Can't believe I had done it, I pour in more Bechamel Sauce and cheeses, then stir until well mixed. After that, sprinkle bread crumbs once more and bake for a few more minutes. And it's FIXED! So glad I didn't get nervous but to think profoundly!

Wonton!!

Wonton!! Wonton!! Wonton!! Common, simple, but delicious! I just had this as my lunch also with roasted potato.

No one will never resist this as I am XD This food reminds me that when I was young, always had this every Sunday with my parents. It can be serve in different kind of ways, like in soup and noodle or fried with oil. Although, it's ordinary to us, for a foreigner, it may seems special to them. Just like we felt to the overseas food.

Err.. I must say I have no ideas to write more. Stay tuned for my Mac and Cheese!

Roasted Potato, this is what I had serve with.

Spaghetti Sauce with Spinach Fettuccine

Spaghetti sauce, I'm not wrong, this is the second thing i had learnt, after the mushroom soup. But I cook this most of the time then making a mushroom soup.

I'm using spinach fettuccine instead of the others because that's all I had. XD

Keys to this technique are, the first one, Basil!!! The one of my favorite herb, sweet! Second, Oregano, my favorite, too. It's perfect because it made my spaghetti smell like.. PIZZA!! Here goes the last one, Wine, I had red wine in my spaghetti sauce, just about 1/4 cup. If you want more, I swear the sauce wouldn't be as nice as you thought.

Spaghetti, most favorable meal in the world. I known that from a newspaper last few week. Spaghetti is originated from Italy, everyone know that of course.

If you looking for Spaghetti Sauce recipe, why don't you visit another post, Lasagna, well there's Spaghetti Sauce recipe there? Click Here!

Roti Canai

I just made this today with my best cousin, Benny Chieng. I feel like to make it so long time, now i made it eventually. By the way, I rarely eat roti canai , though i live in Malaysia.

I have had searched this recipe recently, but that recipe don't have enough detail about how to roll or shape it. Lucky Benny knows how to because he ate frequently when he was live in Serikei, Sarawak.

I do made the taste like other peoples made it, but the looks? Errr... not good enough T.T Well, I do confess that I had one burned, haha. And I missed the curry sauce for roti canai, too. It's really really nice when it serve with curry sauce.

Originally it is not made by Indian but Indian from Malaysia. Owing to that, it should be a Malaysian Food.

Taco, Mexicanxx!!

Me: Taco, taco, taco.. who is the fairest on the world?
Taco: ME!!!!
Me: What the.. Now you make me feel like to eat you! XD

Made it a lots of time, I had made taco with fish, sometimes with hot dog and potatoes, or with cheesy flavour and more of it. This time I made it with roasted chicken, yeeeaah niiccceee!

With my experience, now I can let the taco stand. Because i had stirred my brain to figure it out, finally. So that it easier to hold the thinks together, and looks much beautiful!

I made this yesterday, 20 June, I cannot write this blog at the actual time because my daddy was watching his drama. I made this in hurry and I sweat almost my whole body, haha XD

See, my second sister was very satisfied..

I made Truffle Potato Gratin for Teacher's Day

I made it 2 times in this day! One is for Teacher's Day and another one is for my family in dinner time. Sadly, some of my best friends didn't eat because it has been eaten by another friends and teachers, finish faster than the other foods. Well, I should have leave some for them. Maybe, I shall make some special and different for them next week. Hope they'll surprised.

I have this, Potato Gratin, as a part of the dinner today with Fried Chicken, yeah! My family like it!

Truffle Potato Gratin, a food originated from france, it contain potato, mushrooms, cheese, heavy cream, chicken stock, thyme, salt and pepper. All you needs is time, AN HOUR, it's easy ,actually. Better serve it when it's warm or it ain't taste as good as it was. Like slime, too soft, not even chewy.

It is how it looked like when it have been sliced out. =D

Italian Roasted Onions

I was about to go to have lunch at KFC with my sisters, but my second elder sister was late for flight. As a result, my eldest sister will back to work and I have to cook for  myself a lunch, and for my youngest sis, as well.

Well, I was a wee bit lazy, therefore I decided to make this, roasted onions, Italian!! Just gotta serve it as a side dish with my leftover pork and soup.

It's a very simple dish but it smell fragrant and taste sweet. So do not despise it!

From the steps that I had got, you can simply drizzle on some olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper on your sliced onions and roast them until they are tender. For me, I would garnish it with parsley or oregano and paprika, so that, it would taste even better. See, it is just as easy than you thought! Everyone can do it!!

Gotta Make Croissant For My Sister!

Yeah, my sister going right back to home on next week, 13th June. She ask me to cook a lot when she's back, bet she will getting fatter ha ha.. Well, i would like to make croissant for her, because it's the first thing appeared on my mind XD...

Croissant's origin is France, the place where i wanna go in future, it's as famous as almost throughout the world. It is also sometimes called a Crescent or Crescent Roll. Crescent-shaped breads have been made since the Middle Ages, and crescent-shaped cakes, imitating the often-worship Moon,  possibly classical times, but the modern croissant dates to 19th-century Paris.

Actually, croissant is a high cholesterol food because it contain a lot of butter! Take a little control won't hurt :) It is pretty cool to serve this at breakfast time with a cup of milk!

Braised Lamb and Linguine Pesto

it's perfect to serve braised lamb with my lovely pesto~

I love my mom's braised lamb terrific method, it braised with soy bean paste which brings saltiness. As for my mom's secret recipe, she added lemon grass together to make it more fantastic! HMMM~~ it just so wonderful.. I think it's not a secret recipe anymore, after u read XD..
Italian traditional pesto usually uses basil, pine nut, garlic, parmesan and olive oil. But i add some additional ingredients like green onions, cilantro, parsley and more garlic. Garlicky and Herby Pesto should be called instead tradition's.
Some people may ask,"How about with wine??". For me, wine? sorry i'm not in age for a wine XD. Of Course i will someday, with someone else haha, in cadlelight dinner...
My sister usually don't eat lamb, but for this, haha she does...

I'm Crazy in COOKING!!

I never will cook if i didn't look for the mushroom soup recipe. Why mushroom soup? Because it's my favorite, and my mom rarely buy cream of mushroom soup in can which is kinda delicious but contains a lot of preservative and costly XD, by the way, it just not enough for me to eat!!
I craved for too long time, so i wanna cook one , then of course, i search through YouTube for it(in 2010, i was 16). Then, i found a video recipes of mushroom soup by John Mitzewich.

After that day, i began to search more recipe that i wanted to eat, like Garfield's favorite LASAGNA!! Well, i really done it! It's so nice!!
So this is how i started to addicted in cook until nowadays...
